There is no denying that PowerBlock is one of the leading names in the world of adjustable dumbbells. They were the first company I had ever run across and introduced me to these types of products. The company is responsible for delivering the most efficient dumbbells, but they do take a little getting used to. When you spot a pair of PowerBlock dumbbells, you will instantly recognize them. The color coordination is easily noticeable and actually effective for its purpose, which will be explored in more depth below.

The Pin Adjustment System
As mentioned above, you can see that these dumbbells are fitted with a colorful display. Of course, this is not for aesthetics. Instead, each color serves a purpose, by helping you choose the appropriate weight. When you look at the top of the product, you will see a distinguishable chart, which displays the specific weight for each color.
At the bottom, a pin is present. This pin can be removed and inserted in any of the color slots. Look at the chart, choose a color and insert the pin accordingly, in order to select your desired poundage. After this, the dumbbells can be lifted and your workout can commence.
A Variety of Weight Options
Although there are many different adjustable dumbbell manufacturers, they aren’t capable of offering the same flexibility, as the PowerBlock. This is especially true, when it comes to the Classic 70 Adjustable Dumbbells, which can range in weight from5 to 70 pounds. Of course, I must say that the increments are very impressive.
Sometimes, it is possible to increase the weight by 2.5 pounds. Other times, you must step it up by 5 pounds. However, there are over 20 different weight options to keep you busy and gradually increasing your strength. At this point, I have barely been able to muster up enough strength to achieve the 30-pound setting. With the durability of the dumbbells and these enormous weight settings, this product can be used for a long period of time.
My Conclusion
I have been using these adjustable dumbbells for a lengthy period of time and have been nothing, but impressed. Although I have yet to experience an issue, a 10-year home use warranty is included and capable of helping me maintain peace of mind. The price is definitely expensive, but this set can help eliminate any future purchases of dumbbells.
